Technical Support Engineer
For our office in Timisoara, we are looking for a new colleague who will:
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and follow-up on customer issues while tracking details
- Identify, replicate, and document customer reported product defects and enhancement requests
- Implement workarounds if applicable
- Write online documentation, such as FAQ's and knowledge base articles
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Informatics
- Knowledge of Unix or Linux
- Knowledge of IP routing and switching technologies
- Knowledge of IP protocols (SMTP, HTTP, NTP, SNMP)
- Good reading and writing skills in English
- Good communication skills
The following would be an advantage:
- VPN technologies knowledge (IPSec, PPTP, OpenVPN)
- Italian language
- Customer service skills
